Summer

Well, so much for New Year's resolutions, I can't seem to keep up with everything that I want to give attention to, so the blog has definately taken a backseat. I will get to it soon!

I made these items for a friend of Haley's for a birthday present. As you can see, she really likes cats, especially her cat, Snowball. There is a notebook with personalized stationary, a post-it note holder, a picture frame, a mini scrapbook and some other items.

Back to school!

Well it has been a great winter break from the daily school routine, but the kids go back on Monday and I guess that since it's after midnight, that is technically, tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'm ready for everyone to go back to their routines. It has been kind of nice having the whole family hangin' out for the last two weeks. If we could eliminate all the bickering, I would definitely say I'm not ready for the holidays to be over.
I know that fighting with your siblings is normal, but man, does it get old! Haley and Madi have a real love/hate relationship. I wish it were more love than hate, but I have to say it is pretty 50/50. I hope they will lean more toward 70/30 in the years to come.
Speaking of siblings, I talked to my brother earlier tonight and he and Lara and baby Luke are home from the hospital and have had a taste of the first sleepless night and the joys of diapering a newborn baby boy... but everyone is surviving. I hope they know, it will get easier! Well at least until he has a sibling to bicker with. Ha Ha.
